The 21-mile A-train commuter rail line connects Denton County with Dallas County via the Dallas Area Rapid Transit (DART) Green Line at the Trinity Mills Station in Carrollton, Texas.
The A-train stops at five DCTA stations - Downtown Denton Transit Center (DDTC), MedPark Station, Highland Village/Lewisville Lake station, Old Town station and Hebron station - before reaching the DART Trinity Mills station.
Passengers can ride the A-train free in the designated "free fare" zones between the DDTC and MedPark station, as well as between the Hebron station and the DART Trinity Mills station.

NOTE: The A-train weekday schedule (Monday-Thursday) varies from the weekend schedule (Friday-Saturday).
On weekdays, the last A-train departs Trinity Mills Station northbound at 9 p.m.
On weekends, the last A-train departs Trinity Mills Station northbound at 10 p.m.

The A-train operates Monday through Saturday, departing every half hour on weekdays and every hour on Saturdays.
There is no A-train service on Sundays or major holidays including:

- Independence Day
- Labor Day
- Thanksgiving Day
- Christmas Day
