Language Access Plan
As part of its Title VI Program. Denton County Transportation Authority (DCTA) adopted this Language Access Plan (Plan) in 2026. The Plan describes how DCTA will provide meaningful access to programs, services, and activities for individuals with limited English proficiency (LEP). It applies to DCTA staff, contractors, and public-facing service channels, including fixed-route bus and A-train services, GoZone and other on-demand services, Access/paratransit, customer service, public meetings, service alerts, Title VI processes, and public information.
An individual with LEP does not speak English as a primary language and has a limited ability to read, write, speak, or understand English. DCTA provides language assistance free of charge. This Plan is intended to be used with DCTA’s Title VI Program, complaint procedures, customer service procedures, and emergency communications procedures.
