The Denton County Transportation Authority (DCTA) will not operate any services on Independence Day as the holiday is on a Sunday. However, DCTA will operate service on Monday, July 5. The agency’s administrative office in Lewisville will be closed on Monday, July 5 in observance of the holiday.
The Dallas Area Rapid Transit (DART) will run on a Sunday schedule on Independence Day. DCTA encourages those who ride DART to sign up for their Rider Alerts to stay informed about any upcoming schedule changes for the upcoming holiday.
