Social Media Policy

DCTA maintains its social media sites/pages to provide passenger information and promote DCTA services, policies, programs and objectives. It is DCTA’s goal to keep the most current and accurate information available to the public on all social media sites, however, varying events can occur that could affect the timeliness of the information and the accuracy of the content.

Comments posted on DCTA’s social media sites by “friends,” “followers,” or “fans” will be monitored and any postings or comments that are disrespectful, offensive, dishonest, or do not accurately reflect the views, values or objectives of DCTA will be deleted without notice and the associated account may be blocked/banned.

DCTA’s social media sites may contain links to other Internet sites and resources as a convenience to the viewer. Linked sites/pages are not under the control of, nor maintained by DCTA. DCTA is not responsible for the content of these sites. In addition, the inclusion of a linked site/page does not constitute an endorsement or promotion by DCTA.

Social media sites are monitored by DCTA staff Monday through Friday, from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. CT, and on weekends during specific community events. For specific information regarding DCTA’s social media channels, contact Adrienne Hamilton at ahamilton [at] dcta.net.
