DCTA Services You Can Ride Free
Passengers who bring their bikes on board can ride the following DCTA services for free:
- A-train Commuter Rail
- Connect Bus (Denton and Lewisville)
- Highland Village Connect Shuttle
- Denton Enterprise Airport & Lewisville Lakeway On-Demand
- University of North Texas (UNT) Campus Shuttles
- North Central Texas College (NCTC) Campus Shuttles
Passengers who plan to transfer to the (DART) will need to purchase or have valid fare for that portion of their trip.
Simple DCTA Bike Tips
Riders can visit for tips on how to safely bring a bike on our busses or train. Most DCTA buses are equipped with a bike rack located on the exterior front of the bus. Passengers need to make sure the vehicle can safely accommodate a bicycle, then they will be allowed to ride DCTA free with the Bike to Work Day promotion.
