The Denton County Transportation Authority (DCTA) has contracted with the University of North Texas (UNT) to conduct its biennial community survey beginning Thursday, September 1. The survey focuses on Denton County resident’s preferences on public services in the area and DCTA services and passenger amenities. The agency plans to utilize the survey results to better serve Denton County with enhanced transit services. The survey will be made available at www.DCTASurvey.net.
Those who complete the entire survey will be entered into a raffle drawing to win one of the following prizes:
- First Prize: Choice between a 9.7” iPad Pro (128 GB), DCTA regional annual pass ($1,600 value), or a $750 Amazon gift card
- Second Prize: Choice between an Xbox One bundle, $500 Visa gift card, or a DCTA regional monthly pass ($160 value) and $300 Amazon gift card bundle
- Third Prize: Choice between a Roku and $50 Amazon gift card bundle, Beats by Dre earphones and $50 iTunes gift card bundle, or a DCTA regional monthly pass ($160 value) and $50 Starbucks gift card bundle
“We’re excited to work with UNT’s experienced research team to conduct our community survey that will help us better understand how Denton County residents view public services in their community,” said Jim Cline, DCTA President. “The feedback we receive from this survey will enable us to take Denton County residents’ preferences and identify potential methods to enhance our services to meet their needs.”
Denton County residents can take DCTA’s community survey by visiting www.DCTASurvey.net. All completed surveys must be received no later than September 30 at 5 p.m. to be entered into the drawing.
Completed print surveys can be returned to a DCTA representative, bus or rail operator, or the ticket counter at the Euline Downtown Denton Transit Center (DDTC). Survey results will be presented to DCTA’s Board of Directors at the November 2016 board meeting.
