Denton isn't called the Halloween Capital of Texas for nothing, but that means big crowds and packed streets. This October, DCTA is making it easier than ever to join the fun Downtown! Hop aboard our FREE special event shuttle at key Park & Ride spots around Denton for a ride straight to the action. There's no circling the block or witch hunt for a spot near the Square.
Shuttle Schedule
Saturdays and Sundays only, October 3 – November 8, 2026.

Please note: DCTA is also running a special event shuttle for Denton's Day of the Dead Festival on Saturday, October 24, from 10 AM to midnight.
Quick Tips for a Frightfully Good Time
- Arrive early. Parking can fill up fast on busy nights, especially Halloween weekend.
- Remember where you parked. Snap a photo of your spot so you're not wandering the lot like a lost ghost.
- Plan your ride back. Check when the shuttle stops running on the day of your visit. Don't get stranded after the witching hour.
- Costumes welcome. Be mindful of other riders who are sharing your space. We're all here for a good time!
