University Pass Program
DCTA, in partnership with Denton County higher education institutions, has established a University Pass Program to encourage use of the regional transit network and to provide an affordable and convenient commute alternative for students, faculty and staff affiliated with local colleges and universities.
The University Pass Program offers two levels of participation. The Local System passes include A-train trips between Hebron and Denton as well as DCTA Connect bus service. The Regional System passes provide access to the A-train and include fixed-route bus and rail services provided by Dallas Area Rapid Transit, Trinity Railway Express, and the Fort Worth Transportation Authority.

How to Purchase
Purchase In Person
NCTC, TWU and UNT students, faculty and staff can purchase the University Pass at the Downtown Denton Transit Center (604 E. Hickory, Denton) during regular business hours. DCTA is able to accept cash, check or credit cards. Passes may not be immediately available. Click here to view the proper forms required to verify student enrollment and employment status.
