The Denton County Transportation Authority offers several services to the general public in the Greater Lewisville and Denton area. These services include fixed route service in Denton, Highland Village and Lewisville, campus shuttles to the University of North Texas and North Central Texas Collage and a regional commuter service into downtown Dallas. Additionally, DCTA offers demand response/paratransit service in Denton, Lewisville, Highland Village and Corinth.
DCTA is currently constructing a regional rail line that will run between Denton and Lewisville and into Carrollton to connect with the Dallas Area Rapid Transit system. For more information on the A-train project, visit myA-train.com.
