Commuter Express offers passengers the opportunity to ride any of three express coaches to downtown Dallas from Park & Ride locations in Denton and Lewisville. Reverse trips from downtown Dallas stop at Dallas Area Rapid Transit’s North Carrollton Transit Center, the Lewisville Park and Ride, the University of North Texas, Texas Woman’s University and the DCTA Central transit center.

On this service, one-way cash fare is $5, a 20-ride pre-paid ticket is $45, and a monthly pass is $85. Children under 5 accompanied by a fare paying adult ride free. Tickets and passes may be purchased at City Hall in Lewisville, at the Student Union at TWU or online. Monthly passes may are also available from bus operators the first and last three days of the month.

DCTA offers free parking at one Park & Ride location in Denton and two locations in Lewisville. In Denton, the Cinemark 14 theater which is located off the Mayhill/State School Road exit on I-35E. In Lewisville, the Cinemark Movies 8 located off the Corporate Drive exit on I-35E and our newest Park & Ride located at FM 407 and Summit Avenue in theTexas Twister parking lot.

Each Commuter Express trip will make ten stops in the central business district of downtown Dallas. With the purchase of a DART pass, riders will be able to transfer to or from DART services in downtown Dallas at the DART West and East transfer centers. On the reverse commute, passengers may transfer to or from DART services at the North Carrollton Transit Center.
